Black River Valley Riders ATV Club
from Carthage has join in with Lewis County ATV Assoc. in their
efforts of providing insurance for private land owners. Lewis
County has had insurance in place for about 6 month with 4 Lewis
county clubs participating and has had great success in signing many
land owners with hundreds of acres. To make this more affordable
Black River has joined to help in Jefferson County. Region 6
Director Joe Onyon has already opened land in the town of Champion.
With hopes of signing more and access to local businesses like the
Buffalo Inn. A trail is also being looked at to access businesses in
the Wilna/Carthage area. This insurance provides protection to
land owners for ATV use and will be maintained & signed by ATVers.
